The Student Ambassador program provides leadership opportunities for 5th and 6th grade students.
The Student Ambassadors provide an array of services to students and visitors at Crawford Elementary.
Services include the following:
- Welcome new students to Crawford
- Provide school tours to new students and visitors
- Organize and lead monthly community service projects
- Lead school fundraising and collection drives
- Promote school Spirit Days
- Represent the school to visitors
- Learn leadership skills via games and activities
Community Service Highlights in 2013-2014
- Raised over $2000 for school computer equipment via the Box Tops for Education program
- Collected over 1200 pounds of food for the Fairbanks,Food Bank
- Help run the school's Santa Shop
- Assisted with the school's Valentine Grams program
- Raised over $1800 for the Leukemia Society
